How To Enable HTTPS On Your Blogger Blog With Custom Domain

What is HTTPS?

HTTPS is a secure version of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol used by websites to encrypt information shared between a browser and web server, protecting users from online attacks. Previously, Blogger platform users were unable to use HTTPS on custom domains, but now this feature is available.

How to activate HTTPS in Blogger?

This is a simple guide to enable HTTPS on your Blogger site. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Sign in to your Blogger account and go to Dashboard.

Step 2: Click on Settings in the left vertical menu and then select Basic.

Step 3: Under "HTTPS," select "Yes" for "HTTPS Availability." It may take some time to activate.

Step 4: Optional: Select "Yes" for "HTTPS Redirect" under "HTTPS" to automatically redirect visitors to HTTPS.

If “HTTPS Redirect” is turned off, Visitors will land in your site to http://megabdwap.blogspot.com which will be served over HTTP, an unencrypted connection.

If you want to increase your conversion rate, it's important to switch from HTTP to HTTPS. HTTPS ensures that your site is secure and trusted by both search engines and visitors.
